The Humboldt Lofts are located in the historic Mill District and feature two distinct buildings, the Humboldt Mill and Humboldt Annex. The building was redeveloped or converted into residential living space back in 2003 by Julie Snow Architects and sits on the corner of 2nd and Chicago across form the Guthrie Theater.

Humboldt Mill was originally built in the 1873 but was destroyed by the ‘A’ Mill explosion, rebuilt in 1878 and was operation until the 1930’s when the Minneapolis lost it’s lead in the milling industry and the mills started to shut down. Sitting empty for decades, it wasn’t until plans were enacted for redevelopment of the historic area.

The Humboldt Mill keeps true to it’s past with exposed brick and floor to ceiling round top windows. The newly redesigned Humboldt Annex also features floor to ceiling windows with stunning views of downtown.

Made up of 37 units ranging in size from 2,700 finished square feet to over 4000. Expect to pay anywhere from the low $300’s to over $1 million for these finished units.

Walk to the Mill City Museum and the world famous Guthrie Theater. Also nearby is quick access to miles of walking/bike paths and the Stone Arch Bridge.
