North Star Lofts

117 Portland Ave | Minneapolis, MN 55401

North Star Lofts sits along the Mississippi River and is close proximity to many area attractions. Formerly known as the North Star Woolen Blanket Company, this is a signature landmark in Downtown Minneapolis.

Located in the historic Mill District, this building sat empty for nearly 50 years until it was renovated in the 1998 by Brighton Development. The building actually used to be a blanket factory, thus given the North Star Blanket sign that sits atop of the building.

The building stays true to its past industrial milling heritage with exposed ductwork and brick interior.
